Horizon's headquarters, where the majority of our workshops are held, is located in the historic, waterfront town of Chesapeake City. We are situated in Franklin Hall, a three story red-brick building on Bohemia Avenue, the town's main street. Virtually all the town's buildings were built between 1830 and 1890; Franklin Hall dates from 1870. Our very small town—population 800—contains three B&Bs and a guest house (see website Lodging page) as well as several fine restaurants, a classic down-home café, and a number of lovely shops, whose proprietors are happy to pose for your pictures. We believe you will find our town as tranquil, colorful and beautiful, as any small town between New York and Washington, DC.
