Editing Your Images (1 Day) - Diane Shapiro
Your best photographs shouldn’t be stored under the bed or on a hard drive. They should seen…on your website, in digital books or albums, and on the wall—your own or a gallery’s. How do select the best images from hundreds (or thousands)?  How do you sequence and present them for maximum impact?  Diane applies her decades of picture editing experience to answering these questions with specific attention to your work.  She shows you how to see your images more objectively, an essential step in becoming a better self-editor. She shows how the editing process reveals your strengths as a photographer…and what is needed to take you to the next level. Diane also discusses potential commercial opportunities for your work in diverse markets such as: editorial (newspapers, magazines and books), commercial (calendars, greeting cards and ads), fine art (exhibits and art shows), and stock photography…and she’ll explain how to reach buyers in those markets.  However you choose to show (or market) your images, you will see why effective editing and presentation is a challenging and highly satisfying art form in itself.
